Check iCloud lock: For ALL iPhones – Important before buying!

Before buying or modifying a used iPhone, always check for iCloud Activation Lock first . This lock renders the device unusable if the previous owner hasn't removed it.

Why check iCloud lock?

• Avoid scams : Many "bargains" are blocked and worthless.
• Security : Detect lost/stolen devices early.
• Save time : No bypass needed if clean.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Removing the SIM card : Slide the SIM out – the IMEI number (15 digits) is printed on the SIM slot.
2. To activate DFU mode (if the screen is locked):
   Connect your iPhone to a PC/Mac with 3uTools.
   iPhone 6/6S/5s : Press and hold Home + Power for 10 seconds, then Home alone for 5 seconds (screen will go black).
   iPhone 7/8/Plus/SE (1st Gen) : Press and hold Power + Volume Down for 8-10 seconds, release Power, then continue holding Volume Down for 5 seconds.
   iPhone X/XS/11/12/13/14/15/16/17 Pro Max : Briefly press Volume Up and release, briefly press Volume Down and release, then hold Power until DFU mode is activated (approx. 10 seconds, screen will go black).
   You will see the serial number (SN) in 3uTools.
3. Check online : Go to iUnlocker Check iCloud and enter IMEI or SN.
